Fishing

I'm not a serious fisherman.

I don't own expensive rods. I don't know all the fish names. But I love being on a wooden boat with locals who laugh the same way I do.

Belitung is perfect for this. Hand lines. Shallow waters. Fishermen who will take you out for a few hours, then grill your catch on a deserted beach.

Oh, and I bring my camera. Because grilled fish on white sand at noon? That's a photo you want to take home.
